1. Potential financial impact is not money owed
A flagged amount can be legitimate. “Potential financial impact” is an analytical measure used to prioritize review and may include estimates. It is not a receivable, legal claim, audit opinion or guarantee of reimbursement.
2. Data-dependent results
Results depend on the files, rate cards, campaign settings, POS data, bank data and other information supplied by the user. Missing or inaccurate inputs can change findings. Parser mappings and marketplace exports can also change over time.
3. No legal, tax or accounting advice
PayoutChecker is software, not a law firm, CPA firm or tax advisor. Do not rely on a report as a substitute for professional advice or audited books.
4. Dispute timing
Marketplace adjustment/dispute policies can change. A deadline displayed in PayoutChecker is designed as an operational reminder based on stored policy metadata; verify the current marketplace policy before relying on it. A marketplace self-service window is not necessarily a legal statute of limitations.
5. Merchant controls submission
V1 dispute packets are prepared for the merchant to review and submit through authorized marketplace processes. PayoutChecker does not automatically file disputes and does not promise acceptance.
6. Third-party trademarks
DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and other third-party names belong to their respective owners. References are nominative/descriptive and do not imply partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.
7. Sample data and prototype social proof
Any sample audit results — including the demonstration showing 350 statement orders, 46 exceptions and $711.98 potential impact — come from an illustrative/fictitious fixture unless explicitly identified as a verified customer case. Mock/illustrative testimonials are not customer endorsements and must not be published as real testimonials.
